I’m Dee Crick, a somatic practitioner and nervous-system-led ADHD and AuDHD coach and educator for the late-diagnosed.

I’ve gone from working on innovation teams at corporate giants to helping difference-makers (like you). Specifically, I help you:

 For most of my life, I couldn’t understand why I sometimes quietly struggled, especially during stressful periods, with many ‘small’ things that were supposed to come ‘easy’… while then handling ‘big’ or complex things with no issue at all, or easier than others.

I’d hyperfocus on solving a complex challenge when it was engaging. But other times, I’d daydream rather than think about the seemingly ‘simple’ task in front of me.

And some actions, I just couldn’t sustain without burning out.

I fell into cycles of intensely improving one life area… only to watch another unravel at the same time.

Eventually, as a mom and wife navigating career shifts, country moves, and business-building, I hit burnout.

What followed was a focus on health, and so came the reversal of autoimmunity symptoms and a late ADHD diagnosis, but with this answer came so many more questions and areas of tension…

When I went looking for ADHD solutions, I found five causes of frustration….

  1. Medication alone wasn’t the silver bullet I had hoped.

  2. Professionals weren’t tailoring in-depth support to my life stage challenges

  3. Information and support was fragmented, even though life doesn’t happen in silos. One professional could support my physical or nervous system health. Another with mindset or limiting beliefs. Another with home or life organization. Another with parenting. Another with growing a business. (you get the picture).

  4. Nowhere seemed to cover neurodivergent nervous system regulation - key for ADHDers to think at our best and effectively use executive functions

  5. Support missed how to juggle all the competing priorities faced by the late-diagnosed. When I was a student, I could hyperfocus on studies. As an adult at a different life stage, there are a lot more competing priorities to keep up with, and all had to be managed at the same time.

…Plus, after offering medication or talk therapy for any co-occurring conditions like anxiety, support in the medical and clinical world often stops.

Given my corporate experience in getting to the root of problems and designing solutions…

…I studied the most successful and well-rounded ADHDers for what they were doing right, and trained myself across multiple various, relevant disciplines —

  • sciences (neuroscience, physiology, health, hormones, and integrated ADHD nutrition)

  • body-first practitioner training (somatic practices, nervous system regulation, polyvagal, EFT tapping, HRV)

  • psychologies (positive psychology, cognitive-behavioral, attachment theory, IFS/parts work)

  • other practical applications (environment design, systems thinking, sensory regulation support)

  • coaching lenses specialisms (ADHD, AuDHD, executive functioning, ADHD parenting, nervous system regulation)

HoloADHD was born from two simple beliefs:

1. Support should be integrated, and work for every core area of life…

Yes, pills can be very helpful. However, medication doesn’t solve all ADHD challenges. Plus, adults with ADHD shouldn’t have to navigate and piece together fragmented services, e.g.

  • Executive functioning support - without rewiring limiting beliefs that greatly affect behavior

  • Mindset work - without interventions for physical wellbeing

  • Niche areas of focus, like business or parenting, with little consideration for how they integrate with the rest of life

When you have ADHD AND multiple responsibilities, delivering on dream goals without things breaking or burnout, becomes sustainable only when you have ALL three of the following…

a. Nervous system is regulated, bodily needs are met, and you expand your own capacity

b. Vision and goals are clear, vivid, and meaningful - and your beliefs, values, and identity don’t conflict with them

c. Environmental spaces, systems, and workflows add ease, remove friction, and simplify decision-making…

2. Aligning to strengths, values, and what’s meaningful, while scaffolding rather than focusing on challenges, is essential.

ADHD has long been framed as a deficit of attention. But through modern science, it’s better understood as differences in the regulation of your energy, emotions, focus, and nervous system states.

The same traits once labeled “disordered”:

  • Hyperscanning surroundings

  • Nonlinear thinking

…are often the exact traits behind innovation, entrepreneurial and empathetic leadership, and creative impact.

ADHD is not a character flaw. But it typically operates in environments that are not designed to leverage its strengths.

5 Things I Believe To Be True - About Adults With ADHD…

1. ADHD support needs to hold all of real life, like busy periods, low-capacity days, and coordination of responsibilities, like home, health and wellbeing, business, and family.

This is why HoloADHD exists.

2. Nervous system regulation support is foundational - without it, access to higher-level thinking and executive functioning disappears.

3. Emotional connection and meaning often motivates ADHDers more than logical consequences or rewards.

4. Intentional action improves when spaces are designed to work with ADHD, and repeatable to-dos are systemized, but not with rigidity, but easy reentry/restarting and flexibility.

5. You can be ambitious whilst successfully maintaining other life areas like your well-being, relationships, home, family, and sense of self - by working with your wiring.

When I’m not working or looking after my family…

I LOVE to travel (30+ countries and counting), try new foods, and try new experiences in the city and beyond. 

I’m always at my most relaxed when…

I’m by the ocean watching my family play in the sea, or going for a swim (with my hair protected, iykyk), or in the bath listening to an audiobook, or at the spa with my husband…. I was probably a dolphin or another water-based creature in another life! ;)

I’d do anything for…

A friend, loved one, or neighbor… really good guacamole… the Knicks… or a well-brewed cup of tea (I’ve lived a long time in the US, but I’m originally from the UK, like Emma Grede!)
