HoloADHD’s Integrative Therapeutic Coaching vs. Talk Therapy: Understanding the difference and what you need
HoloADHD integrative, therapeutic coaching and talk therapy are both safe spaces to help shift your life - but they are needed for different reasons and at different points in a journey…
HoloADHD’s Integrative Therapeutic Coaching
Who is it for…
People with ADHD or AuDHD or/and nervous system dysregulation, burnout or stress symptoms, OR those navigating life transitions
Someone steady enough and ready to look ahead and make improvements
We do not ‘fix’, as people with ADHD are not ‘broken’.
How we help…
We focus on mindful productivity - helping clients to make tangible steps toward the life they envision in ways that feel good for physical, mental, and emotional health
We adopt a root-cause, 360 approach - including support with regulating the nervous system, rewiring thought and belief patterns, and removing friction from aligned action. We help you get clear on what aligns and what’ll best move you forward
It is collaborative - so the approach is also shaped by you, to what you want and need on the day

What does HoloADHD mean by “Therapeutic”?
We address root physiological and nervous-system patterns
We draw on therapeutic modalities (somatic practice, EFT tapping, polyvagal-informed practice, attachment theory, breathwork) as informing my coaching
The relationship and process is spacious and has depth, safety, and trauma-awareness
Talk Therapy / Psychotherapy
Talk therapy is meant for treating diagnosed mental health disorders (like depression and OCD) and for moments in life that feel too heavy for moving forward alone.
It involves examining the past and present to help people understand what shapes them and why.
For clients with co-existing psychiatric conditions it is advisable that another mental health professional also forms part of your care.
Please note: If, at any point I notice signs that you need crisis support or clinical care for any reason, I will recommend a relevant licensed provider in your state or country.
